If a BMW Remote Software Upgrade is available, you will receive a push notification in the BMW Connected App on your smartphone. You can start the download directly and then transfer the BMW Remote Software Upgrade to your vehicle via Wi-Fi (Android) or Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (Apple iOS). You can start the installation of the BMW Remote Software Upgrade in the vehicle in the "Car", "General settings" and "Remote Software Upgrade" menu.
